And I knew, from the moment I first experienced it, that travel should feel exactly like this. What stayed with me wasn't just the place. It was how many people lit up when I talked about it, then quietly mentioned they'd always wanted to go. But the excitement often gave way to hesitation. Momiji & Maple was created with them in mind. Our name is a nod to both places: a meeting point between cultures. Momiji, the Japanese maple and our beloved Canadian symbol. It's this shared spirit of familiarity and discovery that I hope every guest feels — blending Canadian warmth with Japanese intention to create experiences that feel personal, considered, and quietly elevated.
